Instead of wasting your time and (a lot of) money on this thing, just get the Garmin 265WT with lifetime traffic included for free. If this thing actually laid the doppler radar over your nav map, it would be more worth while. The fact is, you have to exit the traffic/nav mode, go to "tools," go to MSN Direct, go to "weather" then go to "radar" before you get to see the radar weather map. Doing this while driving, is foolish. Besides, in my car I have windows and a radio which gives me this info faster. i really was hoping this would put the radar and the traffic and my route on one screen, but that is not the way it is. Then, you get to resubscribe for a lot of money after your free year runs out. Additionally, the placement of the brick on the cable, near the male plug, rather than at the end near the GPS makes it a little harder for the unit to pick up it's FM signals, meaning you won't always get all the content. I have had mine only a few days, but have yet to see any flight information or movie information. I live halfway between NYC and Philadelphia - not exactly the boondocks. And, the cable config put the brick at the opposite end of the cable compared with the location of the FM receiver on the 265WT's included cable, which was easier to plug in and bury behind my dash, exposing only the little bit needed, rather that the whole thing. I threw away the blister pack, so I don't think I'd have much luck returning this, but i don't think I'll be renewing when the free trial runs out. I am sadly disappointed in the way this thing "works."
