Yamaha RX-V3800BL 7.1-Channel Network Home Theater Receiver (Black) Review

Replacement in the sense that we had hurricane style rains for weeks straight and my roof leaked directly above my home theater equipment - of course!

I digress, this was offered as a replacement by the insurance company from another Yamaha receiver from at least 7 years ago.

This has been a wonderful receiver and although the remote doesn't look as cool as the old "silver surfer" with a front flap, it's far more usable.

I docked it a star because the one thing I think it lacks for this price point is dual HDMI outs. I use this with a home theater PC and would like to run both inputs into the receiver with two outputs, one to a projector and another to a small LCD monitor.

Other than that one small issue, highly recommened.
